CSA Kindergarten & Grade 1

Mrs. Torres
Hi everyone! My name is Brooke Torres and this is my 10th year at the Shaughnessy School, as well as my 10th year as a classroom teacher for students with Autism. I have my bachelor’s degree in both elementary education and special education and a master’s degree in curriculum and teaching. I have a 19 month old son named Xander and a 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog named Taz. Teaching in Lowell is something I am very proud of. I went to school in Lowell and I had the BEST teachers who were so supportive, kind, and inspiring. My hope is to be that for all of my students here at the Shaughnessy School.

Mrs. Soucy
Hi everyone! I’m Maureen Soucy but everyone knows me as just Soucy. I am a CSA Paraprofessional and have been working in the Lowell Public Schools for 27 years with 25 of my years here at the Shaughnessy School working with our wonderful K-1 CSA students. I live in Lowell with my husband Joe, and we have two amazing children and two beautiful grandchildren, Claire, who is 3 ½ and William who is 11 weeks old. In my spare time I love spending time with family and friends. I also have a love for reading, going to the beach and especially camping or I guess we should call it glamping as often as I can. Let’s have a wonderful year!

Ms. Rana
Hello! My name is Rana. I’m a mother of 2 wonderful boys. I have my bachelor’s degree in education and I also have my early childhood degree. I’ve worked with kids for more than 10 years. This is my 3rd year working with CSA at the Shaughnessy school. I love to read and cook during my free time.
