My name is Keri Gangemi. This is my second year teaching Content Literacy. I am looking forward to engaging students using hands-on projects that inspire curiosity and critical thinking in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Mrs. Nobrega

Hello, I’m Jessica Nobrega, the Physical Education teacher at the Shaughnessy School. I have been teaching in Lowell for 33 years. I have been a classroom teacher, a special education teacher and for the last 11 years, a Physical Education teacher. As a Physical Education teacher, I love to encourage my students to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle. I grew up in Dracut and still live there with my wonderful husband of 21 years.

Mr. Silverstein

Hello! My name is Mr. Silverstein, and this will be my first year at Shaughnessy Elementary as your music teacher! I am a 3rd year teacher, and I have taught music, band, and chorus in Nashua, NH before coming to the Shaughnessy. I also teach high school and college marching band in Lowell! I am super excited to help your students learn about, experience, and make their own music.

My name is Mrs. Markee. I will be teaching Visual Arts to your children! I am looking forward to the year! I have taught Visual Arts at Washington Elementary and Butler Middle School in Lowell. I am excited about teaching at the Shaughnessy!  I love to create all kinds of art with the students.  The young children inspire me with their freedom and creativity!
